CHALLENGE
The brief required a dynamic product film that could communicate the technology and design of the Nothing Phone (2) with strong visual impact. A conventional shoot would limit how the product could be opened, deconstructed, and animated while keeping every element perfectly controlled.
3D provided the opportunity to overcome those limitations and create precise product movements, transitions, camera angles, lighting, and feature reveals while maintaining a premium advertising finish.
RESEARCH
I studied Nothing’s distinctive design language, product launch communication, technology advertising, CGI product films, exploded-view animations, macro cinematography, and contemporary motion design.
The research focused on translating physical product features into motion — using scale, camera movement, lighting, material detail, and controlled transitions to make the technology visually understandable and engaging.
CONCEPT
I developed the visual concept and executed the complete 3D motion direction for the project. My work covered concept development, storyboard planning, 3D product visualization, modelling, materials, lighting, camera animation, motion design, rendering, editing, and final delivery.
The project demonstrated how CGI can go beyond product visualization and become a creative storytelling tool — allowing the audience to see inside the product, explore its design, and experience its features through motion.
