ABOUT MY JOURNEY
I’m Vijay Shilu, an Art Director and AI Creative Artist with 15+ years of experience across India and the UAE. I’ve worked across advertising, branding, visual communication, 3D, motion, and creative direction for regional and international brands. Over the last three years, I’ve been deeply focused on AI-led creativity, using tools such as Kling, Seedance, Seedream, and Nano Banana to develop AI films, key visuals, campaigns, and visual concepts.
What I bring is a combination of strong traditional art direction and AI-driven thinking, taking an idea from concept to distinctive, high-impact visual execution with greater speed and creative possibilities. I see AI as a powerful creative medium, but Art Direction remains the foundation. My approach starts with the idea and evolves through strategy, concept development, visual language, AI exploration, art direction, production, and final execution, creating visual work that is not only striking, but purposeful, relevant, and memorable.

I lead creative direction for UAE regional campaigns, taking each project from brief and concept through visual development, production and final delivery. I built and run AI-driven workflows using Kling, Seedance, Seedream and Nano Banana to produce ads, key visuals and motion faster without lowering quality. I was promoted to Art Director after 18 months, and I manage a team of 6 designers along with the India office operations. Selected work includes Denza, Nothing, Emmar, Beanz, Sharjah Government, Noon, Dubai Government, Ali Cafe, Honda, Jeep, Dubai Police and many more.
