CHALLENGE
Tiles are highly visual products, but small samples often make it difficult to understand their true impact once applied to a space. The objective was to bridge that gap by creating realistic interiors where scale, texture, pattern, colour, and material could be experienced together.
The walkthrough also needed to maintain a natural sense of movement so the product remained the hero throughout the journey.
RESEARCH
I looked at contemporary residential interiors, architectural visualization, flooring and wall applications, material studies, lighting techniques, and cinematic walkthroughs. Particular attention was given to how lighting and camera movement can change the perception of ceramic surfaces.
This helped shape an environment where the tiles could communicate their character through space, light, texture, and movement rather than static presentation alone.
CONCEPT
I developed the visual experience from the initial spatial concept through to the final rendered walkthrough. I worked across 3D modelling, environment creation, tile application, materials and textures, lighting, camera animation, rendering, editing, and final presentation.
The project became an early example of how I use 3D not only to visualise a product, but to create a complete visual story around it.
